Monitoring
No monitoring is proposed specifically for topography and geomorphology.
Monitoring of the effectiveness of erosion control measures, slope stability, and
reclamation success are described in Volume E, Section 6.

Conclusions
The tailings facility will have a negligible effect on topography during the
construction phase, low effects on topography during the operations phase, and a
moderate effect during the closure phase because, even with reclamation, the
landscape will remain in an altered state for the long term after closure.
Implications of changes to topography and geomorphology for other disciplines
are addressed in other sections of this report.
