Monitoring
Designed control systems for sediment control will be monitored to ensure
protection of the surrounding water resources.
The Ivondro intake system, designed to prevent fish impingement, will be
maintained on a regular basis to ensure effectiveness.

Conclusions
Low or negligible environmental consequences for local aquatic habitat and
endemic fish species abundance and survival are expected due to residual
impacts from construction and operation of the process plant and infrastructure.
The effects on artisanal harvest of fish are also expected to be of low or
negligible consequence.
