Conclusions
During construction, operations and post-closure, the mine area will have a
negligible to low environmental consequence for wet season streamflows at
downstream locations. The consequence will be negligible for dry season flows.
For the operation and post-closure conditions, the mine will have a negligible to
low environmental consequence for sediment concentrations in receiving
streams. For extreme flow conditions during operations, the environmental
consequence may be moderate.
The mine is expected to have a negligible to low environmental consequence
related to flows and sediment concentrations in the Torotorofotsy Wetlands.
